Who Are We?

Imagine Pamlico is a non-profit organization based in Pamlico County, NC; we believe in Pamlico County and strive to help our community reach its full potential. Imagine Pamlico acts as a listening and convening body to engage residents, non-profits, and local government to create a stronger Pamlico County.

​Our Goals
  • To establish a comprehensive, "master list" database of existing efforts in health care, youth programming, and other outreach programs in the county.

  • To foster listening groups of local people to build an effort to grow what is good and create what is missing regarding human services, arts, and education.

  • To assess monetary needs of existing efforts and programs, harnessing the power of collaborative practices in seeking pathways to heretofore inaccessible funding with the goal of increased recruitment, retention and effectiveness.

  • To identify duplication and overlap in services, thereby building strategic collaborative alliances to improve fundraising potential and to optimize impact.

  • To actively utilize our local, regional, and state relationships and resources to build awareness of and to mitigate short and long-term impacts in our high-risk area of storms, drought, and floods.
