A devoted wife and proud mother of five biological children and three bonus children, Takitta finds joy in exploring local restaurants and beaches with her family throughout Pamlico County and surrounding areas.

She also owns Genesis 129 Roots of Wholeness, a holistic wellness brand promoting natural healing, and operates a vibrant jewelry boutique that celebrates confidence and style through affordable accessories.

She currently serves as Director of Communications and Board Member for the Kelly Twinz Helping Hands Foundation of Pamlico County, where she leads outreach and supports community initiatives.
She holds certifications in professional tax preparation, grant writing, and notary services, and earned a North Carolina Funeral Directing Diploma from Fayetteville Technical Community College.
